Clinical Signs: Inappetence and fever (41.7 C) on the evening of Aug 6. Despite supportive treatment the gelding became sleepy, leaning on the stall wall, reluctant to move and head pressing the next morning. He quickly became recumbent and unresponsive to normal stimuli and was euthanized later that day.
