Clinical Signs: This mare was transported to the farm from a dealer two weeks prior to showing signs. This mare and three other new horses were fortunately placed in a quarantine paddock. On Feb 3, this mare developed a mucopurolent nasal discharge and fever (39.5 C) and tested positive for S.equi.
